Timber Lake Playhouse

Timber Lake Playhouse is Illinois’ oldest continuously running professional summer stock theatre and has a national reputation for excellence. Since opening night in 1962, the playhouse has presented nearly 400 plays and musicals and over 4,500 performances. Each year they present a challenging combination of large-scale musicals, new plays, and contemporary classics. Playhouse alumni include Michael Gross of Family Ties, Jennifer Garner, Kate Baldwin, and Tony award winner Jayne Houdyshell, among others.
