The Driftless Muse

104 North Carroll Street, Mt. Carroll IL 61053
Blackhawk Waterways Convention and Visitors Bureau

Built in 1868, The Driftless Muse was originally a home to miners, some of the first settlers in the area. It features two beds, two baths, and sleeps up to four. Today it has been repurposed as an artist’s retreat. The small art studio and designated writing space make it a great place to explore both nature and your artistic side.
