The MCT Nickel Plate Trail runs 28.5 miles from South Main Street in New Douglas to Old Edwardsville Road in Pontoon Beach. The trail is asphalt and limestone and connects to the MCT Nature, Quercus Grove, and Ronald J. Foster Heritage Trails, and on-road bike lanes in Edwardsville.
