The site of the 6th Lincoln-Douglas debate is memorialized with a bas-relief. The last work completed by Laredo Taft, the sculpture shows Lincoln speaking, Douglas seated cross-legged to the left, and Mary Todd seated to the right. The site also includes an 1858 map of the United States and quotes take from the debate.
