Bear Creek is a part of the Mark Twain Wildlife Refuge which span 3 states, 350 miles of the Mississippi River, and 45,000 acres. Part of the Mississippi River Flyway, it is a great place to see migratory birds. The site also offers seasonal, primitive camping, a boat ramp with river access, and hunting.
