
Looking for a place to go for the weekend, day or overnight? Head out to any of the Illinois State Parks along the byway. Many have visitor centers, naturalist programs and hands on activities for kids. Parks along the byway offer visitors the chance to hike along the bluffs, boating, and camping. They also have amenities such as playgrounds, restrooms, equestrian trails/camping, mountain biking trails and picnic areas. Spend the day relaxing and exploring nature and the quaint river communities along the byway.
