Fall Tours and Trails

Fall foliage colors in Illinois peak around mid-October in the north and around late October in the south, though what you consider the peak of fall colors may occur a few weeks in either direction. No matter your favorite fall colors, take a drive along the Great River road in Illinois National Scenic Byway to soak in the views and the changing season. Autumn is also a great time for pumpkin, apple and harvest festivals, as well as craft fairs and wine tours. Take in the sights and sounds this fall and enjoy the local food and live music!
